What is Baseball Maniacs Inc.?
A forum community with the goal as a place of gathering and discussion for all baseball fans, not just statistics-loving, aged 11 - 21.
Aged 11 - 21? Why?
Because there are plenty of places to discuss baseball - team forums, fan forums, game forums, even statistic forums. Why create just another? Here is a place for all teens and a but older who simply love baseball. This is a gathering for the people who are the only ones in their school who not only know what year Mickey Mantle won the Triple Crown, but who let alone know that Sammy Sosa is retired. (I speak from experience.) At least that's what we hope it'll be.
Well, I like baseball and all, but I'm not really into the whole statistics stuff...
No matter! In addition to statistic talk, we of course just talk about plain ol' baseball in general. And besides, you might learn some stuff, and become interested.
